I’m excited to share that I am a new member of Theater Unspeakable’s performing ensemble!

Based in Chicago, the theater company devises physical theater projects based on historic events and well known stories and tours them across the country. Think: The American Revolution, The Moon Landing, and Superman.

Tours are currently on hold, but some fun virtual projects are in the works. Click here to learn more about Theater Unspeakable.

Welcome to my new website! Thanks for stopping by.

For the last year or so, I've wanted to completely revamp my site. Gifted with time and a web development platform that gives me full creative control over my design, I’ve been able to do just that. Really happy and proud of the final result.

If you would like help designing an aesthetically compelling website that successfully showcases who you are, please check out what design services I offer.

NEW WEBSITE

I worked on a short film my first year at DePaul University, and, after making the film festival rounds, it is finally available for all to watch!

The film uses a mix of live action, stop motion, and visual effects to tell an imaginative interpretation of what goes into the making of a human being. It draws inspiration from American director and musical choreographer Busby Berkeley, as well as American cartoonist Rube Goldberg. It is also *fun fact* the first collaboration between The Theatre School, the College of Computing and Digital Media, and DePaul’s School of Music.

Click here to watch Oh Baby! and here to watch a behind-the-scenes documentary on the creation of the short film.

Brooklyn is a war zone, coffee is extinct, the moon has disappeared, and angels are trading in their wings for machine guns. Without the protection of her guardian angel, Marisol Perez begins a surreal journey through the chaos of a crumbling world to find her way home.

Join us today and tomorrow for Fragmented Light Theater’s virtual production of Marisol. I will be playing the role of Women with Furs, as well as other odd voices here and there.

Friday, September 4 @ 7:00 PM CST
Saturday, September 5 @ 7:00 PM CST

Tickets are pay-what-you-can. Click here to make your reservation.

Graduated with an MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University!

Grateful for all the support, now and always. It’s been a wild ride, but I know I am a better person thanks to my time at The Theatre School.

As my Commencement Slide read: Happy Graduation Day from my home to yours! Saved $100 and rewore my old cap and gown. Greenest graduation I never went to. Congrats Class of 2020!

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working with a group of artists, workshopping Nancy Garcia Loza’s Rascacielos. The play centers on Lilia, a fierce Veracruzana living in Chicago, and her relationship with her daughter, Agustina, a talented singer determined to pursue her ever-changing dreams despite her mother’s well intentioned, but conflicting wishes.

Tune in today at 12:00 PM CST to hear a Zoom reading of the latest iteration of Rascacielos. Contact me if you’re interested in coming, and I will e-mail you the Zoom link.

Due to ongoing concerns with the spread of COVID-19, our DePaul Graduate Showcases in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago have been cancelled. All live performances and graduation ceremonies have been cancelled as well. Classes will take place on a digital platform Spring quarter.

If you’d like to support my class during these times, please consider the following options:

- Email T.T.S. Events for a printed Showcase program with headshots, bios, and contact information or view this digitally on The Theatre School website.

- Donate to Inspire DePaul. Originally raising money to pay for Showcase travel expenses, we are now raising funds to help students pay for non-refundable plane tickets, hotels, headshots, etc.

Thank you and stay safe!
